Cathy McNamara | President

What can best be described as a dream come true, Cathy McNamara has built a reputation as one of the most respected event planners, fundraisers and strategic sponsorship coordinators in the New York Metropolitan region. For three decades, Cathy has helped her clients raise hundreds of millions of dollars and produce countless memorable and meaningful events to support dozens of incredible organizations that touch literally tens of thousands of lives. As she describes it, her passion for what she does is driven by the best clients and the best team in fundraising and event planning.

Cathy launched her business following almost 10 years in both the public and private sectors. Her career planning events started by overseeing statewide, national and international events for New York First Lady Matilda Cuomo. She then served as Assistant for Regional Affairs to Governor Mario Cuomo.

Following Governor Cuomo's term in office, Cathy joined Manhattanville College as Director of Communications and Public Affairs, where she played a pivotal role in the school's dramatic turnaround by developing a highly successful, multi-million dollar fundraising special events program. She then served as Director of Special Events and Community Affairs for Cablevision Systems Corporation, one of the nation's leading telecommunications and entertainment companies. At Cablevision, she oversaw corporate giving, sponsorships for community-based events, and the company's participation in charitable benefits. Among the special events she managed were the grand re-opening of Radio City Music Hall, the launch of the Lustgarten Foundation for Pancreatic Cancer Research, the company's listing on the New York Stock Exchange, and events at Madison Square Garden with the New York Knicks and New York Rangers.

A gifted strategist, Cathy has earned a reputation for her ability to tackle difficult issues and achieve ambitious goals by identifying, creating and articulating a clear path forward. Ever detail-oriented and a keen problem solver, Cathy is comfortable wearing whatever hat necessary and leveraging her background in communications and public relations to support her clients' goals, always staying in or under budget with flawless execution.

Cathy is an active member of her Cold Spring Harbor, Long Island community and supports many local and regional organizations. She is a Board Member of the Islanders Children's Foundation and a member of the Warrior Women's Committee for the Northwell Health Center for Women's Cancer.
